This short pneumatic walking boot is designed to stabilize the ankle and foot during recovery after injury or surgery. Indications
May be used as an alternative to a traditional cast in the following cases:
- Ankle sprains: grade II and III (moderate and severe).
- Stable fractures: metatarsal fractures or fractures of the distal third of the leg (non-displaced).
- Post-operative care: after ligament, tendon, or bone fixation surgeries.
- Soft tissue injuries requiring temporary immobilization.
Sizing (based on shoe size)
- S (Small): 35–38
- M (Medium): 39–43
- L (Large): 44–47
Warnings and precautions
- Unstable fractures: not recommended for fractures that have not been surgically fixed, or for fractures of the upper tibia or fibula.
- Open wounds: do not place the boot directly on wounded skin or ulcers; cover the wound first with medical dressings.
- Use under medical supervision: inflate the air cells and use the boot according to the treating physician’s instructions.
